• In 2004, Echo House will celebrate our 40th year of operation. Plans for this event are currently in progress

  • Echo House is making considerable strides in the construction of a new building. The Executive Director and the Board is collaboratively working on fundraising to support this project. The City Council Bill passed and was signed by Mayor Martin O’Malley, giving Echo House ownership of the seventeen properties needed to build our new building. Echo House is in the last step of the process. We are awaiting approval of the State Legislature for Capital funding in the amount of 2.2 million dollars.

  • Echo House was chosen out of two hundred or more minority treatment providers nationwide to participate in a grant funded technical assistance training opportunity offered by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) and MasiMax Consultants. The trainings will focus on building effective boards, infrastructure development, and movement toward the attainment of diversified funding.

  • Echo House has received support from one of the Baltimore Ravens, Christopher McCallister with food assistance for our families in need. We were able to provide 300 baskets of turkeys and food over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. Out of 300 families served, 100 of those families were participants in our drug treatment programs.
